As we inspected the mud flats, we stumbled upon a broken pot plant that had jelly fish poo on it, or was it jelly fish?

Snap! Snap! “Ahhhh! That stupid crab. Oooo, I can use this seaweed to pick up the crab,” I whisper to myself. As I look across at my friend Emmanuella, I notice that her brown wavy hair is blowing in the breeze. While I hold the crab in my hand, I start to wonder what it might be like to be a crab myself. ”Oooo, that is so cool that you have two hands full of crabs” I shouted in excitement at Emmnauella’s dad.

Squish! Squelch! I feel the horrible mud as it squishes between my toes. “Ooooo, I’m going to need a shower after this.” As I take my next step, I suddenly realise my shoe has gone. “Ahhh, my shoe is stuck in the mud,” I yell at Emmanuella. As we both turned and ran towards the shore, we slipped over and did a face plant into the mud. We both laughed. Now we were mud monsters, and I don’t think we were the only ones.

“Come on, jump in the pond and get squeaky clean,” Miss Pedersen shouted. We all ran over to the pond and had a salt water bath, but we couldn’t go far because we did not have a soaked dark yellow life jacket on.The water is freezing I can't feel my toes to my waist but my tame is ok because I have a wet soned on. I make the most of having a swim and I wasn’t feeling scared of the jellyfish in the pond.

Boom!;Boom!;Boom! Is that the sound of my terrified heart or the sound of bomb exploding one by one. I am upset, sad, and scared.A destroyed house is all we have.All we have got is the cloth we are wearing. All day we are running to people`s house talk to them “you have to get out it is not safe” we .we neared to get a cross the big bearer.

Tint space squash in a car set.we arrived at a refugee camp I do not like refugee camps it is a li. Black dirty water bought and packaged food there are already a lot of tents there. We have 3 rooms a kitchen, lounge and a bedroom which is pretty small and a lot of people have to sleep in there and trust me it is very uncomfortable.

Our neighbours are nice and give us things. We don't have schools. There are some guys that come in and check the place and the people who aren't Supposed to stay in the camp must run and hide until someone goes and tells them the government group is gone. I miss home I don't like the war but I have to live with it.

A camping story about me camping

This is a story about a girl who goes camping with her mum and rob.

We are going for 2 or 3 days.we are going to book a cabinet.togs we will be going swimming in a lauk, looking at stars and roast marshmallows.

“Mum mum mum it is friday camp day” I am really excited it was like I was a firework that is going to explode. I get dressed in two shades of a cat's whiskers.The Driving bit is the worst part of camping. I get really car sick so I will have to eat Some pills to make sure I'm not sick.

I have a whole bag of lolly to help me not get car sick. “Ooooooooo I am feeling sick” I really like the land but if I turn my head I'll start feeling sick so i Just want to try to sleep to pass the time.nexts thing you know I'm dreaming of the camp and what we will sleep in. Am I going to have my own bedroom.

“ Brooke Brooke Brooke get up”I can hear a little whispering voice I slowly open my eyes to see my mum standing in front of me and rob Unpacking I quickly sit up to look around. The camp is very cool the lake is very blue. The sun is very yellow I can feel it is smiling on me I take a deep breath and feel relaxed.

By the time we are finish Unpacking the sun is going down”It is marshmallow time” I shouted in excitement. I race to the bag of food and get a good grip on the bag of marshmallows and pull it out of the bag.We grab a little sticks and put the marshmallow on it. Warm fire in my face marshmallow cooking we all huddled around each other and tell spooky stories it's 12:30 o'clock and we all jump into a bed. I'm so exhausted I Collapse on the bed and fall asleep straight away.

We wake up in the morning it's the last day I lie in bed a bit more trying to fall asleep again.By the time I wake up the car is packed mum and rob are ready to leave they're just waiting for me.I lazily get up have breakfast and we're off in the car I took the pills to make me not feel sick. Yay we are home I like camping I want to go camping again it was fun.

Elideen and me make a cool little maze for this car I coded it and Elideen made the maze. we tired about 5 times to get it. it is fun to cod. it is not perfect but made a good jod.

Lake Tutira is toxic By Brooke page 4-year-old Marley after she drank from the Tukituki River last month she died along with more people not well or that died too. If people did go and eat the fish from the lake they should make sure to washed before cooking. lake Tutira has an bloom likely to be toxic to people and animals. produce toxins harms people and animals when it blooms. In Hawke's Bay it blooms at the height of summer. dead fish were found along the shore. A dog died last month.

How to not get toxic for lake tutira Do not drinking the water in it.  Do not eat fish because the toxic can be in the guts. The once swimmable lake is not swimmable now plz do not go in it     you can get sick Do not let your dog in it it will get sick

Enemies/Diet/Appearance/Habitat

Female has a longer nostrils then a male they have a strong legs with sharp claws. They can live in the native forest, tussock north island and coastal areas.The kiwi enemies

are stoats, ferrets, weasels, rats, possums, cats and dogs they are at risk of being hit by vehicles as they cross the road all fall prey to possums traps set no the ground.kiwis eat : small invertebrates, seeds, grubs and all the worms. They may eat fruit, small crayfish, eels.

Life cycle/Behaviours

They then find a male and create a burrow. They mate and then the female lays an egg. It take 30 day for the egg to head. Kiwi are not mammal. Males have a high pitch scream, louder than females. They can be shy. I like being a kiwi and going to see a kiwi at camp.

tips:1 tip you need to take a towel became fish have like The Sandlot coat on so and we need a towel to pick them up so we do not get it off
2 tip for the fish is living in sea water you have to put it in a bucket of seawater or it will go off really fast
3 tip you need to wear a life jacket at all times on a boat
4 tip you need to have a fishing Roller to know if it's too little then you go to put it back in the sea or two big because it might be pregnant

I find the slimy green floppy coral in the salty seawater want I was diving. The coral land in the sun relaxing but I collected it. I thinking in a big rain day it come up on the beach
